We just got back from our first Beach Retreat, and while I’m pretty sure this white sangria tastes better on the beach, I think it will still be pretty great from your own backyard or patio!

We wanted a summer sangria that was tasty, without being too heavy on sugar or alcohol and I found that this recipe with a sauvignon blanc was perfect.

You can use any fruit you have, but be sure to freeze about a cup and a half of the fruit that you can add just before serving. It’s a great way to help keep it chilled, without watering it down.

Cheers!

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup peach schnapps
  • 1 bottle white wine (750 ml)
  • 12 oz club soda or sparkling water
  • 1 cup pineapple, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 cup mango, peeled and cut into chunks
  • ½ cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1.5 cups frozen grapes

Prepare

Freeze grapes for at least one hour.

Combine all ingredients except grapes in a pitcher or punch bowl. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Add frozen grapes just before serving.

Tips to Reduce Food Waste

Try using leftover fruit salad for some of your fruit!
