What is included in the all-inclusive registration price?

  • Freshly prepared from scratch meals and snacks from Friday dinner to Sunday brunch.
  • Coffee, hot and iced tea, OJ, milk (2%)

What are you doing to maintain Guest wellness & safety?

  • Smaller group size of 8-10 guests total.
  • Private rooms available for all guests. Additional charge for private room or cabin.
  • Physical distancing between guests.
  • Wear a face mask as mandated by Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Specifically wear a mask in the Dining Hall when not eating. Masks are not required in the Yoga Studio.
  • Our Dining Hall has a capacity of 40 people - we are currently allowing no more than 10 guests.
  • Guests spaced out in Dining Hall with fresh air circulating.
  • Yoga in open space - with fresh air recirculating.
  • Paper towels instead of hand towels.
  • Sanitizing and cleaning protocol multiple times per day in all shared spaces

How much to reserve my spot?

A deposit of 35% of your total retreat price is due at time of booking. Your balance is due 30 days prior to the retreat start date. You may also pay in full at  booking. If you need to cancel, your payment can be transferred to another date or someone you know with no penalty.

Can I get a private room or cabin?

Yes! Additional charges apply.

  • We have private rooms available for 1, 2 or 3 guests. Additional charge apply.
  • We have a private suite with private bath for 2 or 3 guests. Additional charges apply.
  • Our guest cabin with full kitchen and bath for 3-4 guests can be privately booked. Additional charges apply.
  • First come first serve on all accommodations.
  • Choose accommodations when booking.

Where are you located and what is the best way to get there?

Retreat in the Pines is located in Mineola, Texas.

If you are driving: The drive to the retreat center is approximately two hours from Dallas Fort Worth, four hours from Houston and Austin, and five hours from San Antonio. Carpooling is encouraged, if you’d like to carpool with someone from your area, please notify us at least two weeks prior to your retreat and we will connect those wishing to carpool.

If you are flying: The closest international airports are Dallas Love Field (DAL) (90 miles) and Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW) (105 miles).

You will receive driving directions to the retreat center after final payment is made, five days before your retreat check-in date.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! You can choose private or shared room when you book. Many of our retreat guests come solo and make new friends in the process. We're named "One of the 30 Best Affordable Solo Trips for Women."

What about injuries or food allergies/dietary restrictions?

Injuries: If you have specific injuries or health conditions that may interfere with your yoga practice, please indicate in guest details after booking.

You are encouraged to practice at your level and honor your body. Retreat in the Pines is not liable for injuries.

Food Allergies/Dietary Restrictions: Each weekend menu is  prepared from scratch and you may choose what best suits your lifestyle. Indicate food allergies or restrictions in "Guest Details" after booking. Here are our current  seasonal menus. We use organic and local ingredients whenever possible. We appreciate your understanding when there are fewer options to choose from when personal restrictions are involved. You are welcome to bring additional food, snacks or beverages.

Do you offer massage?

Yes! Massages are available on site with one of our talented massage therapists. Cost is an additional $80. Sign up before your retreat. Payment due at time of service.

What is the Minimum Age?

You must be 21 years of age or older to attend a retreat at Retreat in the Pines.

When and how do I make the Final Payment?

35 days prior to your retreat you will receive an invoice via email. Payment is due one month prior to your retreat. You can pay the invoice using your credit or debit card. We do not take credit card payments over the phone or accept checks.

What is the cancellation policy?

  • All payments are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future date without penalty.
  • No refunds or credits will be given for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or arriving late or leaving early.
  • To reschedule your retreat please email - We are waiving transfer fees at this time.
  • It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies.
  • We recommend purchasing your own travel/trip cancellation insurance so your trip fees will be covered in case you have to cancel your retreat.

Can I Join A Waitlist?

Yes! We'd love to have you join us if a spot opens up. Simply click the button "Join Waitlist". You will be contacted in the event of a cancellation. Payment or a deposit will be due at that time to finalize your booking.

Will I have Wi-Fi?

We offer Wi-Fi in all of the buildings, unfortunately service is not as fast as in the city. Some of our guests use the opportunity to take an optional digital detox.

Is the retreat all about wine?

Absolutely not. Wine is complimentary with dinner. We also have non-alcoholic beverages available, including sparkling water and iced or hot tea.

What if I leave personal belongings at the Retreat?

E-mail hello@retreatinthepines.com. If your item is found, you will receive an invoice for shipping and handling. Once that is paid, it will be returned to you. Lost items are returned on the 1st of the month following your retreat.

Are You Hiring?

Yes! We are always looking for talented individuals to join our team. Yoga Instructors/Retreat Leaders need at least three years of experience teaching yoga in a group setting. Kitchen staff need at least two years of professional cooking experience. We welcome your application. Please apply here.
