What is included in the all-inclusive registration price?

  • Chef prepared meals and snacks from Friday dinner to Sunday brunch.

Can I get a private room or cabin?

Yes! Additional charges apply.

  • Private room with queen bed and private bath for 1 guest is an additional $800/guest.
  • Private room with queen bed and private bath for 2 guests is an additional $300/guest.
  • Private room with shared bath for 1 guest is an additional $500/guest.
  • Private room with shared bath for 2 guests is an additional $150/guest.
  • Private suite for 3 guests is an additional $150/guest.
  • Private suite for 2 guests is an additional $400/guest.
  • Private cabin with full kitchen and bath for 4 guests is an additional $150/guest.
  • Private cabin with full kitchen and bath for 5 guests is an additional $50/guest.
  • First come first serve on all accommodations.

How much to reserve my spot?

A deposit of 35% of your total retreat price is due at time of booking. Your balance is due 30 days prior to your retreat start date. You may also pay in full at booking. If you are unable to make it to your scheduled retreat, your payment can be transferred to another date or someone you know. Transfer fee of $100 applies for more 30 days before your originally scheduled retreat. Transfer fee of $300 applies for less than 30 days before your originally scheduled retreat. There are no exceptions. Discounts are non-transferrable and only apply to the original booking.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! Many of our retreat guests come solo and make new friends in the process. We've been named "One of the 30 Best Affordable Solo Trips for Women."

Do you serve alcohol at your retreats?

Complimentary wine is served with dinner at all retreats with the exception of the Detox + Balance + Restore Retreat, an alcohol-free retreat.

Can I connect with other guests before the retreat?

Yes! We have an optional private WhatsApp group for every retreat group. The Monday before your retreat you’ll receive a link to join. As soon as others join, you’ll be able to start connecting!

Where are you located and what is the best way to get there?

Retreat in the Pines is located in Mineola, Texas.

  • If you are driving: We are about two hours from DFW, four hours from Houston and Austin, and five hours from San Antonio. Carpooling is encouraged, if you’d like to carpool with someone from your area, please notify us at least two weeks prior to your retreat and we will connect you.
  • If you are flying: The closest airports are Tyler Pounds Regional (TRY) (32 miles), Dallas Love Field (DAL) (90 miles) and Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW) (105 miles).

You will receive driving directions to the retreat center five days before your retreat check-in date.

What are the accommodations like?

  • We limit our retreats to 12-14 guests.
  • Accommodations, Dining Hall and Yoga Studio all have central heat and air.
  • Bedrooms are shared with other guests unless you book a private room.
  • Private and shared rooms with private or shared bath are available.
  • When booking you'll be able to choose your accommodation - private or shared - first come, first serve on all rooms.
  • Linens and towels are furnished.
  • Wireless internet available - may be slow as it's a satellite dish.
  • Your accommodations feature a full kitchen, living and dining area and front and back porches.
  • Main house also has a stone fireplace.

What's the yoga like?

  • Yoga is for all levels, including beginners.
  • If you have limitations, please share the information on the guest details form after booking.
  • Check the specific retreat schedule for amount and frequency of yoga.

What about injuries or food allergies/dietary restrictions?

Please share information  in "Guest Details" after booking.

Injuries: You are encouraged to practice at your level and honor your body. Retreat in the Pines is not liable for injuries.

Food Allergies/Dietary Restrictions: Each weekend menu is  prepared from scratch and served buffet style, so you may choose what best suits your lifestyle. Here are our current  seasonal menus. We use organic and local ingredients whenever possible.

We appreciate your understanding when there are fewer options to choose from when personal dietary restrictions are involved. You are welcome to bring additional food, snacks or beverages - you will. have a full kitchen in your accommodation.

Do you offer massages?

Yes! We offer 60-minute massages on site with one of our talented massage therapists.

  • Reservations are first come, first serve when booking your retreat
  • Cost is $85/hour, not including gratuity
  • $10 non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking

What is the minimum age?

You must be 21 years of age or older to attend a retreat at Retreat in the Pines.

What are you doing to maintain guest wellness and safety?

  • Air Purifier with HEPA filters and UV light in accommodations, yoga studio and dining hall.
  • Smaller group size of less than 14 guests.
  • Limited number of private rooms are available. Additional charge applies.
  • Our Dining Hall has a capacity of 40 people - we are allowing no more than 18 person capacity including guests and staff.

When and how do I make the Final Payment?

35 days prior to your retreat you will receive a payment link via email. Payment is due one month prior to your retreat. You can pay with credit or debit card. We do not take credit card payments over the phone or accept checks. Your reservation is subject to cancellation if your final payment is not received 21 days before retreat start date.

What is the cancellation policy?

  • There are no cancellations - we are happy to transfer your payment to a gift card.
  • Transfer requests must be made via email.
  • There is a $100 processing fee per guest for rescheduling more than 30 days before your retreat
  • There is a $300 processing fee per guest for rescheduling less than 30 days before your retreat.
  • All monies paid (less processing fee) will be emailed to you as an E-Gift Card.
  • E-Gift Cards do not expire and can be applied to any retreat or gifted to another guest.
  • No refunds or credits will be given for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or arriving late or leaving early.
  • It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies.
  • We recommend purchasing your own travel/trip cancellation insurance so your trip fees will be covered in case you have to cancel your retreat.
  • There are no exceptions.

The retreat I'm interested in has a waitlist. What does that mean?

When retreats are full, we offer a waitlist. If you click "Join Waitlist" and sign up, you will be contacted if a spot opens up. No payment is required to join the waitlist, but if a spot opens up payment is due immediately to finalize your booking.

Will I have Wi-Fi?

We offer Wi-Fi in all of the buildings, unfortunately service is not as fast as in the city. Some of our guests use the opportunity to take an optional digital detox. Our Dining Table and Yoga Studio are designated phone free zones so we may honor our community.

Unfortunately, due to safety and liability issues we are unable to accommodate pets including emotional support animals.

What if I leave personal belongings at the Retreat?

E-mail - if your item is found, you will receive an invoice for shipping and handling. Once that is paid, it will be returned to you. Lost items are returned on the 1st of the month following your retreat.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We offer military and teacher discounts. Please email for information before booking. Discounts can only be applied before you're paid in full.
