Updates from the Pines

My priority is to keep each guest safe.

This is what our retreats will look like until further notice.

  • Smaller group size of 5 - 8 guests total.
  • Physical distancing in yoga space, dining hall and shared spaces.
  • Wear a face mask as mandated by Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Specifically wear a mask in the Dining Hall when not eating.
  • Masks are not required in the Yoga Studio or Accommodations.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing protocol multiple times per day in all shared spaces.
  • Private rooms available for all guests. Additional charges may apply based on number of guests.
  • Guests spaced out in Dining Hall.
  • Paper towels instead of hand towels.
  • Sanitizer available for guests.
  • Shared spaces well ventilated with fresh air recirculating.

To continue to be a space of refuge for all of you, with less guests, I've had to raise retreat prices. I'm happy to say it is less than a 10% increase. There is an additional charge for private rooms. I've had to make these changes so that Retreat in the Pines is able to survive this financial downturn. I have committed my life and energy to bringing women together in community, and I don't plan to stop anytime soon.

I welcome any thoughts you may have. If you have not yet taken our reopening survey, you may do so here. If you are interested in rentals or a custom retreat or have any questions or thoughts for me, please email me directly.

I miss so much during this time, but perhaps what I miss most is the magic that happens when we join together and share connection for a weekend.

With gratitude,
