Last week, Nina and I took our own advice and gave ourselves permission to pause at one of our favorite vacation spots: the sunny Gulf Coast of Florida. 

We enjoyed all of our favorite things: walks on the beach, sunsets over the ocean, books by the pool, leisurely bike rides, and our favorite ice cream.

Having visited this slice of paradise for over a decade, it seems we always return with something we need – the courage to make a big decision,  insight into a relationship, or a fresh perspective. We intentionally take a break from our phones to focus on the things that matter most.

5-Day, 4-Night Beach Retreat

In early May of 2023, Nina and I will host Retreat in the Pines’ first-ever destination retreat to Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast. This will also be our longest retreat, at five days and four nights.
