Chocolate Mousse

When I tell guests that I'm making chocolate mousse with avocados, I get a lot of surprised looks. When I serve the Chocolate Mousse with our House Made Granola on top, their look of surprise turns into a look of pure joy! The avocado gives a richness to the mousse that's hard to describe. Guests agree it tastes delicious! What's especially nice - this is perfect if you're dairy free or plant based. Enjoy! I hope to make this for you someday at a retreat!


  • 3 ripe avocados 
  • 1/2c almond milk/coconut milk (unsweetened)
  • 3/4c honey 
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2c cocoa powder
  • 4oz dark chocolate, melted over a double boiler


  • Melt chocolate over double boiler. 
  • Allow to cool slightly.
  • Blend all ingredients except melted chocolate with immersion blender until smooth.
  • Scrape down and add melted chocolate.
  • Continue to blend until creamy & silky smooth.
