Mei, originally from Malaysia, moved to the UK at age 20 to continue her studies. Her first job took her to Dubai, UAE — where she lived and worked for almost a decade.
Practicing since 2012, yoga is her way to release stress—grounding herself and finding inner peace by turning inward, connecting with her breath, and embracing the present moment.
As a flight attendant, she travels extensively and experiences different cultures while maintaining a demanding schedule.
Mei and her husband moved to Houston, and in 2019, she took a 200-hour yoga certification with Union Yoga. The transition from Dubai to Houston was challenging, but yoga remained her anchor, providing stability and a sense of home amidst the change.
She enjoys time outdoors with her family, travelling to new places with her little ones, baking healthy goods for her family and girls trips with her friends. Movement, yoga, strength training and mindfulness have always been a part of her life.
Mei is grateful to be part of Retreat in the Pines and looking forward to meeting you at the next retreat to share the power of yoga to heal, ground, and transform.
