Stacy came to yoga late in life. She began to practice on her own at the age of 49 to alleviate anxiety and stress. Finding peace through the meditative quality of yoga, she realized she needed to move her body. Yoga was the obvious choice. She is passionate about sharing the healing power of yoga and meditation that changed her life. At 50, she began her journey to a certified yoga teacher. She is a 500 hour certified yoga instructor and certified in Yin Yoga and Trauma Informed Yoga. She teaches corporate yoga and privately.
Stacy’s favorite quote is “Anybody can breathe, therefore anybody can practice yoga," by TKV Desikachar.
My yoga practice begins by taking one minute to focus on my breath. If that’s all you can do, that’s enough. That’s yoga.
Stacy lives in McKinney, TX with her husband and sweet pup Stella. She has three grown children and one grandson. She loves traveling with her husband and family and enjoys hiking alone in the woods.
On Stacy’s first visit to Retreat in the Pines in 2019, she fell in love with the community and nature immediately. Join Stacy for a Mindfulness and Meditation Retreat in September 2020, she looks forward to sharing peace through yoga and meditation with you.
