Bio

Brook feels most at home in the kitchen. She has been cooking from an early age and is passionate about creating dishes from scratch using local produce and fresh herbs. She loves to combine unlikely flavors for a powerful taste impact. She has a Culinary Arts degree and has worked as a baker, head chef and a personal chef. She's excited to create seasonal menus and dishes for Retreat in the Pines' guests.

In addition to her passion for cooking, Brook also enjoys traveling, reading, exploring new cultures, biking and working on her truck. She loves to camp with here two dogs - Reese (a Blue Heeler) and Henry (a Basset Hound). She's excited to marry the love of her life, Lizeth, later this year. Brook is currently going to school to get a business degree, in hopes to someday run her own restaurant.
